Exel Outdoor collection

According to new developments in the Trekking pole technology Exel has integrated the outside locking technology system “Power Lock” into the Trekking collection as well as the established BS screw locking mechanism introduced to the collection last year. In addition to the “Power Lock” system, also Calu, a combination of Carbon and Aluminium and Titanal are included in the collection to offer a complete range of available technologies in the Trekking pole market.

Shafts
Carbon material guarantees the best available weight/stability ratio for extremely light and stiff Trekking poles. Calu, the revolutionary combination of Aluminium inside the shaft and Carbon outside the shaft offers very light shafts with high durability. Titanal, an alloy of high quality Aluminium combined with a share of Titanium offers lightweight, durability and stiffness for our Trekking poles. 7075 tempered Aluminium alloy with a mechanic resistance of 56 kg/mm F56 guarantee the best available Aluminium quality on the market.

Blocking Systems

The Power Lock system locks the Trekking poles outside the shaft and offers quick and easy adjusting of the poles, especially under extreme conditions. The Blocking System with the one piece expander is securely fastening the poles and guaranteeing that no parts are lost when sections are pulled apart.
